Connie Maheswaran
Connie Maheswaran (voiced by Grace Rolek) – A girl around Steven's age. She is usually seen with a book in hand and appears to be intelligent yet introverted and lonely. She moves frequently so she is unable to build lasting friendships. She is Steven's friend and love interest. She wore glasses to see at the beginning if the series, but as of "An Indirect Kiss", she no longer needs them after she drank from the juice box Steven drank from and his saliva heals her eyes, but wears them without lenses so her parents don't get mad. She likes going on adventures with Steven and the Crystal Gems. She plays tennis and the violin, and learned how to sword-fight from Pearl in "Sworn to the Sword".
